Rachael Lynch

Rachael Lynch

Juno Lawyer

LLB (Hons), BA

I have a broad commercial legal background after 15 years’ experience working within in-house legal teams in New Zealand, Australia and London. In my most recent role at BP I was responsible for providing legal support to the entire business and provided advice on an extensive range of contractual and compliance matters as well as advising on all aspects of a number of key strategic projects.

I have been fortunate to always be a part of a legal team that is truly valued by the business it supports and I understand how much value lawyers can add to a business when they are a respected part of the team.  Earning that respect by building strong relationships and providing sound and practical advice is key to success as an inhouse lawyer.

What Rachael Lynch's clients say

  • Fisher and Paykel

Rachael has been an absolute pleasure to have in the team. Her personable and calm manner meant that from the very beginning it felt like she’d been part of the team for years. She is a highly experienced lawyer and so can work independently. She also works well with our stakeholders in the business, and I have had incredibly positive feedback from those she has worked with. I would absolutely recommend Rachael.

    Ruth Sullman

Manager Legal Services, Fisher & Paykel

  • NZ Superfund

Rachael has worked at the Guardians on a 4 month assignment. She is an exceptionally talented and personable lawyer. She rolled her sleeves up from day 1 and really made a difference to our team who were pretty overwhelmed by a surge in work volume. I would thoroughly recommend Rachael for any senior position within an in-house organisation. We will miss her when she goes to next assignment
