Capability
With 20 years’ experience across business and the public sector, I enjoy providing practical advice on complex issues, enabling organisations to confidently achieve their strategic goals.
As Trade Me’s General Counsel, I established and led the legal and regulatory team, supported the business through its IPO and several acquisitions, managed litigation and advised on a diverse range of ICT, consumer and commercial issues. While at Telecom, I initiated nationally consistent environmental rules for telecommunications infrastructure. I have experience with legislative drafting, upholding Treaty settlements and advising clients with significant water assets. Sustainability and technology continue to be areas of interest.
Stakeholders describe me as warm, collaborative and calm under pressure, known for getting to the heart of an issue and providing clear, well-reasoned advice.
