My passion is to help develop and empower strong in-house legal teams, who partner with their organisation to provide ‘can-do’ solutions that add real value. I have 20 years of legal experience in government and private practice roles, leading legal, policy and technical teams. As former General Counsel on the EQC Executive Team, I understand the importance of supporting an organisation through periods of intense change and crisis management. I have extensive experience in public & Crown Entity law, including Inquiries; litigation strategy; contracting & procurement; insurance and construction law. I have also led the development of new regulatory schemes and the overhaul of legislation in the building and local government sectors.

What Jeremy Ford's clients say
Jeremy is working out absolutely fantastically and he is exactly what I wanted and needed for me and his team. He has worked out very quickly where the issues are and is now addressing them professionally. He is enabling his team to demonstrate how well they can do their jobs and I am already receiving petitions to keep him on forever!
To say Jeremy is a safe pair of hands is an understatement. Jeremy came to EA to cover parental leave. He helped us by taking on a newly created interim manager role in our compliance (enforcement) team, bringing together a team of investigators. Jeremy put in place new processes and redesigned the way the team operated to streamline and modernise the function, while also keeping the team happy and engaged. He also dealt with some high profile and challenging cases. Nothing seems to phase Jeremy; he’s extremely competent, reliable and fits in really well in any team. Jeremy has materially reduced the pressure and workload for me – he’s been a lifesaver.
GM Legal, Ministerial and Compliance, Electricity Authority
Jeremy continues to provide timely advice to the programme and work across a diverse range of areas. My personal dealings with Jeremy have been professional and positive. The relationships Jeremy has formed with our Partners has been critical to getting things resolved and this will increase as we head into some significant decisions in the middle of 2022. Thanks for the ongoing support and flexibility.
