Capability
I'm an experienced in-house lawyer with over 18 years' experience working in both the government and private sectors. A true generalist, I have developed broad legal skills and enjoy taking on new challenges. I love the variety of work that comes with working in-house, and enjoy being able to jump in wherever needed.
My favourite part of working in-house is the opportunity to really understand a business and the people who work within it. I see building relationships and trust quickly and making "Legal" a function people are happy to engage with (rather than wanting to avoid at all costs), as core to the role of a good in-house lawyer. Those I work with value the pragmatic, professional, calm and good-humoured approach I bring to all my engagements.

Having Kirstin in the team with us was fantastic as she was able to 'hit the ground running' and establish herself as the legal lead for a major programme in a very short time, including forming great relationships with others working on the programme. She has a pragmatic and solutions focused approach and thinks broadly about the context of the work, how to keep improving and has great commercial nous.
