Alistair McMechanAlistair McMechan, General Counsel and Company Secretary, Landcorp Pāmu
Alistair is Chief Legal Officer at Landcorp Farming Limited (Pāmu) and has been in private practice and other in-house roles prior to that.  He has responsibility for the legal, procurement and corporate services teams at Pāmu.  Alistair advises the business across a diverse range of areas including, increasingly, on the company’s sustainability strategy.

Shami ShearerShami Shearer, Head of Sustainability, AIA NZ
As a life insurance actuary for the past two decades, Shami has seen the impacts of lifestyle choices and the environment on people’s health. Having recently moved to Head of Sustainability at AIA NZ, Shami is working to help embed sustainability across the organisation, including deepening the understanding of climate risks and opportunities through the development of AIA NZ’s first Climate-Related Disclosures.

Natasha StrongNatasha Stong, General Counsel and Privacy Officer, Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei Trust
Natasha set up the greenfields legal function at the Trust and now leads a small but perfectly formed legal team. Her team works across the Trust and its subsidiaries to make a difference in the lives of the people of Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei - the tangata whenua and ahi kā of central Tāmaki. Outside of mahi, Natasha has three teenagers, which keep her on her toes and is the Chair of the Devonport Community House.

Rachel PliegerRachel Plieger, Juno Legal, currently supporting FNZ
Rachel is a seasoned lawyer with deep roots in the financial sector, having thrived at global hubs like NatWest Markets. Her expertise bridges continents and is recognised in New Zealand and England & Wales. Outside of lawyering, Rachel passionately contributes to the Waitaki Whitestone Geopark Trust.
