Rachel Rumball | Juno Legal | Lawyer

Capability

I love working as an in-house lawyer and becoming embedded in a business as part of a team.  My broad and diverse background as a legal leader and commercial solicitor has taught me key skills which enables me to contribute significant value to an organisation.

In my most recent role as a central government team leader, I built and managed an engaged and effective commercial legal function, and I learned how to lead strategically and with influence.  My over 20 years’ experience in local government and law firms gave me a deep and comprehensive knowledge of commercial and contract law, and taught me how to deal with contentious and contractual issues and how to manage an organisation’s risk.  Along the way I have also learned the principles and value of procurement and contract management.

I work hard to understand an organisation’s strategic goals and risk appetite to ensure my legal advice is both aligned and effective.  My focus is on building strong relationships and communicating in a clear, impactful and empathetic way.
