Sarah Dalziell-Clout

Sarah was an exceptional fit for our team. She joined us to backfill the role of a member of the team who was working fulltime on a strategic project. We frequently had to remind ourselves that, sadly, Sarah wasn't a permanent member of the team. When her contract ended (after many extensions), I had colleagues across the business come to me aghast that I hadn't managed to keep her with us forever! Sarah brought a pragmatic, solutions-based approach to her work. Her experience advising on large, complex IT contracts was invaluable. Sarah's work was always of exceptional quality, delivered in a timely and easy-going manner. She is extremely astute and can spot those issues that need a broader conversation, and those which require a more low-key, risk-based response. She was "one of us" through the vicissitudes of Covid lockdowns and beyond.

Sarah joined our team remotely and I really appreciate the work that she put in to support us at a very busy time. She worked well independently, in what was difficult circumstances to operate in. She was able to ease the pressure which was brilliant.

Sarah has a friendly, approachable style and was quickly able to develop strong relationships across the organisation. She's hard-working, practical and efficient, which has made her a hugely valued and respected asset on the legal team. She's interested and engages well across all areas of the organisation, which helps to deepen her understanding of our context - but she's also able to step back and highlight opportunities to streamline and simplify processes and documentation. She's a trusted sounding board and just an all-round gem.
